Black Lion Decals has been started by Michel Boer, Jan Giesbers and Antal Giesbers, and is based in the Netherlands.

Jan Giesbers is well known in the modelling world for his series of models, marketed under Giesbers Models.

Michel Boer is a decal designer, who has designed in the past for Landships Decals.

Antal Giesbers is a publisher, who has a.o. written a book on the battle of Overloon in 1944 (Operation Aintree), which was the only tankbattle ever on Dutch soil.

Rob Tas joined the team as a co-designer, specialised in the British Army and postwar vehicles and has recently started TAS Models, specializing in bunkers.

So here we are at Trucks 'n Tracks 2009 (left to right Michel, Rob and Jan),
